During the past two years, Toyota has teamed up with Monster Energy Supercross to feature a segment on the broadcast called #makeup2mud, which featured female riders of all levels around the country. This past June they also invited anyone with a 2010 or newer Toyota vehicle to Cycle Ranch MX in Floresville, Texas, and we sent our own Melanie Marra (who drives a 4-Runner, by the way) and her dad, John, to check it out. The camp included a number of riding drills, track time, nighttime activities, food and drink, and much more.

AMERICAN MOTO HERO
At each round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, the series takes time to stop and honor local community members who represent their country, give back to those in need, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of those around them. At Thunder Valley it was Colorado Springs resident Brandon Ward (son of American motocross legend Jeff Ward), who raced amateur for a number of years and then turned his attention to the U.S. Army as a specialist. Now he serves in the 2nd Battalion of the 10th Special Forces Group. He’s been through a pair of deployments with Special Operations Task Force—Afghanistan, as well as a deployment with the U.S. Central Command Crisis Response Force in Baghdad and the Arabian Peninsula.
