LATEST IN LIDS
Fly Racing has a reputation for cool gear launches, and when it came time to introduce their new Formula helmet, the brand held true to their style by unveiling the new lid at K1 Speed in Carlsbad, California. Those in attendance were treated to an education on some of the new technology used in the Formula, which was developed in collaboration with doctors, scientists, and physicists. Multiple layers of energy-mitigating materials and technology are combined to create a helmet that Fly Racing believes to be one of the most advanced, and safest, motocross helmets ever built. After the presentation, everyone jumped in go-karts to take the Formula for a spin. Thankfully, nobody ended up giving it an actual crash test.

TWO-WHEELED RELIEF
The moto community always knows how to lend a helping hand when needed, and when American Honda and Fox Racing learned about 12-year-old Evan Shoemaker, who lost everything in the Camp Fire that devastated the town of Paradise, California, they worked together to make his local race special. The Shoemaker family received VIP passes, toured the race rig, and got to meet Ken Roczen. Fox Racing kicked in with brand-new gear, and Honda even replaced Shoemaker’s destroyed ride with a brand new CRF230F—a surprise presented by Roczen himself. Nice job, American Honda and Fox Racing!
