PRINTING RACER X
As our June issue of Racer X Illustrated was scheduled to print, we hopped on a plane so we could check out the process in person at LSC Communications in Pontiac, Illinois, where each issue of Racer X is printed and sent out to our subscribers. The whole affair is impressive to say the least, and if you ever get the opportunity to check out how fast a full-scale, full-throttle printing press runs, do it! As expected, when printing Racer X, they had that thing pinned.

CYCLE FOR SAVAGE
Blake Savage is a very popular guy in the pits, so when the trainer went down hard while riding earlier in the year and suffered a back injury, the whole industry wanted to help. As always, Road 2 Recovery was among the many who stepped up, and they helped organize a Cycle for Savage fundraiser in mid-April at the Oakley HQ in Irvine, California. Tons of folks turned out to help Savage offset some of his enormous hospital bills, and the event had some serious sponsors in MedTerraCBD, 100%, Ryno Power, Hammer Nutrition, Toyota, Toyota of Escondido, Hydroflask, 805 Beer, Oakley, and more. As for Blake, he’s working hard and improving every day—and this day helped a lot.
