TROLL TRAIN
Racer X Magazine at Trolls: The Experience
When Monster Energy AMA Supercross comes to the Big Apple (or across the river in New Jersey, to be precise), there’s usually a little more press involved leading up to Saturday’s big race, and this year we got treated to the Trolls Experience. SX PR man Sean Brennen took some of the JGR/Yoshimura Suzuki squad—including Alex “Troll Train” Martin—to Midtown Manhattan so they could bathe in the wonder of the Trolls Experience (produced by SX promoter Feld Entertainment). It was a fun day of face painting, dancing, and hands-on experiences that take guests through a multisensory adventure full of color and music, all based on the DreamWorks Trolls franchise.

TEAM MOTO-X FOX REUNION
Geoff Fox and Pat Richter being interviewed.
In 1977, the first incarnation of Team Moto-X Fox debuted at the Hangtown 125 National, and one of their riders, Pat Richter, nearly won the race. More than 40 years later, team founder Geoff Fox (center) got Richter (left) and the rest of the boys back together for a reunion dinner at the 51st Hangtown Motocross Classic. Richter, who happens to be Ryan Villopoto’s uncle, even got to do some bench-racing with Geoff and Rob Buydos (right) between motos. Also on hand were Danny Turner, Donnie Cantaloupi, Dana Waxham, Jeff Watts, and more from one of the best privateer teams of all time.
