NELSON Jessy Nelson suffered a career-ending back injury in 2016, but he’s busy on a bunch of new projects, including UTV racing and making his live announcing debut at Hangtown.
ENDUROCROSS The 2019 EnduroCross Championship has been canceled after new promoters WHR Motorsports informed the AMA in May that, “due to unforeseen circumstances,” they would not be holding the series this year. (Kicker Arenacross promoter Tod Hammock and EnduroCross creator Eric Peronnard have since stepped in to hold a new three-round series.)

PRO CIRCUIT Mitch Payton’s team lost both 250SX titles after Austin Forkner injured his knee and Adam Cianciarulo crashed out of the Las Vegas finale. But AC rebounded immediately with two straight wins to open Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross and lead the series for the first time in his career.
MOTORCYCLIST The longest-running motorcycle magazine in the U.S. announced that the June/August issue will be its last print issue. It will continue in digital form at motorcyclist.com. The magazine was first published in 1912 under the name Pacific Motorcycling.
